These striped shorts from Old Navy probably would have been a better purchase earlier in the summer, but I couldn't find them in the store (I went to two locations!) so I finally ordered them on line and then had to wait for what seemed like ages for them to arrive. So I styled them simply for a day at the beach with all my favorite nautical pieces. I sat in the sun and read the NY Times style mag cover to cover (and by read, I mean look at the clothes). It's the last day of August! How could this ever happen? I feel like I spend my whole life just waiting for it to be summer again.
