just peachy! (+ gertie swirl dress review)
A few days before heading out to our yearly vacation at the Jersey Shore with my in-laws, I decided to make a dress!
I knew it would have to be either a pattern I had used before, or one that promised to be easy. Enter Gertie’s Jiffy Dress book!
I have all of Gertie’s pattern books, but have only sewn up one garment – a super simple t-shirt that I never blogged. Her jiffy patterns promise to be just that – a jiffy to sew – and I have been eyeing the Swirl Dress ever since I got the book, so that seemed like the right choice for this project!
It’s a wrap dress, so there are no closures (yay!)...
