Weekend Reading, 5.2.21.
And just like that, it’s May and I have been a Charleston resident for a full month. Wow. This week, I got my second vaccination. The prospect of life going back to “normal” is almost too much to handle. I thought this article about post-vaccine inertia was a great, really thoughtful read. Unlike pretty much everyone I know I didn’t get as sick from the second shot as I did from the first one. No fever, just a sore throat and very very tired. I slept most of Friday and watched a lot of TV. I’m feeling so hopeful and optimistic. Starting to plan a few trips which feels surreal. At the same time I have been glued to the news watching...
