My two favorite fabrics for spring and summer are linen and cotton. Lightweight, breathable, soft, comfortable and essential in the warm and humid southern climate. I have always loved cotton styles, never really caring if one is slightly sheerer than another (I simply wear nude colored under garments). Cottons pieces come in so many different types: the all classic basic, cotton with add stretch, textured crinkled, sheer muslin, crisp poplin, puckered seersucker, soft chambray, and more.
