Almost to Spring
A few nights ago, the first of the spring rains arrived. It was such a mild day that I threw open the windows and let that gentle storm be the lullaby for us all that night. The next morning bright shocks of green clover and tiny green buds on the tree branches greeted me. Finally, finally, and ever so slowly it is starting to be spring. We still have a week or two of the drab and maybe a few chilly days, but spring is beginning. I still haven't really been out to take photos, but when I do, prepare yourself for so, so many flowers.
