The New Classic
At the beginning of the fall/winter season, I picked up a bunch of these pleated velvet skirts from the thrift store, in different colors. I’ve only worn three of them – this dusky pink one, the ice blue, and the forest green, but I would’ve bought more colors if the store had them. I had to remind myself that I actually have two more (silver and olive green) still in storage to make myself stop. Plus, I need to save some room for next season (I’m looking for a gold one.) I felt a little crazy buying so many of them at once, but pleated midi skirts have pretty much become a classic by now that I’m confident I can get a lot of wear out...
