Long Skirt/Short Jacket
(Sorry, Cake . I don’t do short skirts.)
Usually, when I wear vintage pieces, I try to balance it with more modern pieces to avoid looking like a cosplayer. However, during this past year, as my vintage collection grows, I sometimes find myself going all-out, just for fun. Like this outfit, for example. The skirt is a bit longer than I expected, but I decided to keep it as it is so I can live out my Edwardian fantasy in my head. I did get some funny looks as I biked to work in this, but I didn’t mind. I was busy imagining myself as Anne of Green Gables (I probably look more like Marilla , but that’s OK, she’s a badass lady too.)
