COvid on TV?
I just caught up with Grey’s Anatomy. I’m conflicted about a show doing story lines about Covid.
On the one hand, it’s a great way to personalize the abstract situation. On the other, I fear that it’ll diminish and distance people from facing the reality by watching fictional characters go through something real. And I’m concerned that our psyches just aren’t ready to handle watching stories about this very fresh trauma. Thoughts?
