Two Days Visiting Chatsworth and the Peak District

Ever since I first fell in love with the 2005 film adaptation of Jane Austen’s Pride & Prejudice , Chatsworth House has been at the top of my bucket list. The stately home is owned by the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, and was used as Mr. Darcy’s home, Pemberley, in the film. And it’s fitting that it was, as it is believed to be Austen’s inspiration for Pemberley in the novel!
