Goldenrod
I went on a foraging walk recently.
A highly knowledgeable woman was holding one, and there’s nothing better than a hands on lesson. Books teach a lot, but having an expert walk you through and answer your questions is irreplaceable. It confirmed a lot of my own learning and expanded on it. And now a field of Goldenrod is not only a delightful yellow but a ton of nutrients and Vitamin C. Also, Goldenrod with some wild mint for flavor is a great way to get those vitamins.
