The Courtyard
I want to introduce you to my neighbour, Porkie. His real name is Rookie, but we didn't know that when we first met him at the bottom of the stairs at the ground floor entrance of our apartment building. My husband was carrying a takeout container of Vietnamese lemongrass pork which piqued his interest immediately - we named him accordingly. He pays us a little visit every time we walk through the courtyard and, when we're on our way back home, he comes with us up to ur apartment, hoping that we'll invite him in so that he can explore and leave little bits of fur on all of our furniture.
