This Week’s Good Things, 8.3.20.
How was your weekend? Mine was really peaceful and nice. On Friday I stayed in and read this book . It was so good (and suspenseful!) that I ended up staying up late to finish it… I needed to know what happened. It’s twisty YA thriller set at an elite Long Island prep school, involving a secret society. Someone described it as Gossip Girl meets One of Us is Lying , and that’s a pretty perfect, v v accurate description. Rich, unsupervised teens crossed with murder and a secret society = my ideal summer read. My reading list will be up tomorrow with my full review of it, but you may be able to tell that I highly recommend it.
