The 80’s power suit updated. Outfit 1.
Power suits became all the rage for women in the 80’s and in the 90’s . Women wear getting inspired by the masculinity of a good suit and so took it to Venus territory. Massive shoulder pads boxy looks, but the feminine touch of a lace body suit or teddy under the jacket. As well as the menswear inspired shirts.
Today the power suit is still running full force, just with out the massive shoulders, boxier cuts and some tiny waisted silhouette. The powersuits today are more fitted. More polished and refined. Colorful and still just as bold. And styling them is a lot of fun!
