No time to wallow in the mire
I have to admit that I've been feeling a bit off these last couple of days. There's nothing wrong, really, so don't worry, I'm just having a serious case of the blues which are putting my heartstrings out of tune. In a world where everything was as it should be and the thought of a pandemic having the world in its vice sounded like pure science fiction, we would be in our cottage in Shropshire by now, after a day's journey which would have started in the early hours of this morning.
