This skirt by Susan Bristol is a big departure from the skirts I've been sampling this past year. Over the summer, I've snagged two skirts from this brand and in this profile (one of which I'll wear with a red crinoline for K.'s wedding). I was pleased to see that it worked with this troublesome ruffled orange silk blouse by Daniel Caron. The entire month of April, when I was working with pastels in every color, I nearly returned it to the thrifts. I'm glad now I held onto it.
