Wearing White After Labor Day
Out of all the fashion “rules” I’ve heard of, “don’t wear white after Labor Day” is the most idiotic. Not just because it’s elitist bullshit , but also because it makes no sense – for example, if you wear white in March 2020, as I am here, you can say that it’s after Labor Day of 2019, but it’s actually before Labor Day of 2020. So which is it, fashion police? Am I breaking the rule? I know, I know, the actual rule is that you wear white after Memorial Day and before Labor Day, but what about other countries that don’t have those days that clearly mark the beginning and the end of summer?
