A few weeks ago, I was invited to speak with a group of high school girls. It was a great afternoon. They are so smart and way more mature than I remember being when I was the same age. I shared my career path: what I do and how I got here. I talked about feeling like the world was going to end when I failed my first college exam, but how it led to me starting my blog. We talked about social media, trolls, Tik Tok, self-worth based on likes, and the importance of being careful of what you share and do online.
