When I was little walking through the quiet woods, listening to the birds sing, and the butterfly dance before me, I dreamed or glory. I dreamed of big adventures, heroes, and sagas. I dreamed that I would play a big part in this epic of the world.
Now, decades later, sifting through the
bills and the tasks, and the mundane, I dream of walking through the
quiet woods, listening to the birds sing, and the butterfly dancing
before me.
But I sip my coffee, and hug my girl, and scratch my dog, and thank “There’s something to this too.”
