The Modern Basement
When Johnny and I were designing our basement, we knew we wanted it to have a gentlemen’s lounge vibe. Polished concrete floors, black paneled walls, wood details, a statement island and brewery (we’ll get to those in a future post) got us started on the right modern-lounge foot, but we took our time in choosing the furniture. It needed to be sleek and modern, yet cozy, with a little bit of quirk.
