The Best Symphony
The weather has changed abruptly and it's been cooler outside than inside with the air conditioning on, so what do you think we did? We shut off the a/c and opened all the windows; it was heavenly. I've never cared for that stale cooped up air that comes from central heat and air and I've missed all the sounds of nature. As much as I love pretty clothes, if I had my choice, I'd much rather get all dressed up and spend an evening listening to the symphony that goes on right here in these hills when the sun starts to set. What are Beethoven and Bach compared to the way that each cricket, cicada, tree frog and bird comes alive with a song...
