Giraffes
Last but not least, the giraffes! I present you my favourites from the Buffelsdrift Game Lodge . From the two hour safari trip I could have stayed the whole time only around these wonderful creatures and admire them. The are so majestic and they look as if they were painted. Did you know that they sleep maximum 3 hours a day and never more than 15 min at time? This way they protect themselves from treats. Also the zebras and antelopes always stay around them because they are so tall and they can see the danger ahead the others. Also, they eat non stop for 21 hours a day from some trees that have thorns and manage to eat only the leaves thanks to their tongue.
