Weekend Getaway to Carolina Beach, NC
Eleven years ago, once my husband finished his specialty residency, we really had the option of moving anywhere to start his own practice. After a lot of research, we narrowed the move to North Carolina. The best decision we ever made!!! We ended up in Apex, just outside of Raleigh, and absolutely love living here! 2 hours from the coast and 3 hours from the mountains makes it an incredible place to live. Not to mention the state of NC is absolutely gorgeous...so many trees and the blue skies!
