Thanksgiving in Mexico City
As I’ve gotten older and my family has moved all over the country—we used to all be located in Chicago, but now we’re spread out from California to Ohio to New York to Arizona to Texas—our traditions around Thanksgiving have fallen by the wayside as a result. It’s hard to get that many people all together twice in two months, and we usually all congregate around Christmastime, so for the past two years, I’ve spent Thanksgiving away from my family and on a trip. In 2017, it was on a press trip to England and Scotland , and this past year, it was with my friends Natalie and Alex in Mexico City!
