1950s Cat Cafe
Um, excuse me. But look at my tights. HOW ADORABLE ARE THEY?? I have kittens on my knees!!!My mum found this amazing vintage dress for me (for something ridiculous like $1) a few months back, and I just got around to altering it. It was a size 18, long, 1950s milk-bar waitress style dress, but with these unfortunate puffy sleeves. So I shortened it considerably, took it in at the waist and shoulders, and fixed the collar so it buttons up to my neck. It's retained its 1950s waitress-ness, but looks a heck of a lot more flattering. This outfit, a combination of a 1950s waitress-style and cats, is a tribute to Tokyo cat cafes!
