the first day of spring and a saturday in the sun (and some super alliteration making it that much more marvelous)
Today was the first day of Spring! While I feel like winter went by way too quickly, it is a beautiful time now here in Melbourne. Despite all the sunshine I got out on the wrong side of bed and felt tired and grumpy. I decided that bright colours were one way to counter this. Red lipstick, helps, too! I wore a vintage floral dress in cheerful oranges and yellows and greens. It feels great to be able to wear these again without too many layers, although it definitely isn't warm yet. I needed my ooooolllld leather jacket, and a topshop jumper, and these black touches were finished off with my black Gorman shoes. Such good weather; blue skies and sunshine but cold air....
