Cost Per Wear
When I arrive home from a trip, I like to unpack and do laundry immediately. I hate the thought of that suitcase sitting there and taking up space, plus having lived out of it for two months, there is no need to do so for one more day. Of course when I unpacked I had to grimace at all the unworn clothes I trekked 2,500 miles just to bring home and hang right back up again. I know I packed optimistically, but even if it had been warm and sunny the whole time, I might not have needed three pairs of black sandals. I never wore the red maxi dress I thought I might style for a Valentine's shoot, nor did I wear any of the four pairs of dress pants I brought. Instead I lived...
