The Outfit I Just Can’t Quit
There is no reason for me to own this velvet jumpsuit and blazer. But I do. And I will never get rid of it. I’ve worn it now two years to CES parties and there is something about putting these two items that make me feel like a much cooler and much, much more powerful version of myself.
I have no idea what it is. Maybe it’s because it’s one of the only outfits I can count on fitting me if I gain or lose some weight. Perhaps it’s because people just kind of move out of my way when I’m wearing it. Or maybe, it’s just because in it, I actually visibly show that I am 100% confident in the Alissa that I am.
