Kalavrita: Spileo ton Limnon (Cave lakes) Pt2
As I had already said, here we are with a second post, that explains what else you can do in Kalavrita. Few kilometers far away, there are some really suggestive caves: Spileo ton Limnon. Literally the cave of the lakes, infact there are 13 lakes developed in three levels, but for now, it is possible to visit just one of them. The cave is originated by a subterranean river, that during the winter flows and during the summer creates the lakes. Through the ages the presence of the calcareous water developed stalactites (from the top) and stalagmites (from the bottom). The ticket is kind of pricey, 9 euros, but it totally worth it!
