A new year dawns today. There's a reason I don't ring in the new year with anything more than a single glass of champagne--I want to be fully aware, fully in the moment, rather than having my head fully in a toilet and my heart full of regrets. This is a day to set aside the past a look ahead, reevaluate the way things have been going, make some changes if necessary, and more than anything start to hope. Hope. It's a dangerous word.
