I’ve never not spent a Christmas in California. Some say they can’t imagine spending Christmas someplace warm and not covered in snow. For me, it’s the opposite. I’ve grown up identifying Christmas with the beach or the pool. Santa Clauses ringing bells against bright blue skies in 70 degree weather. But despite the way it looks or feels outside, inside of me it still feels like Christmas. It still feels special even though physically it could easily be spring, summer or fall.
