Style Imitating Art outfit: Pocket Flask
Hello! How are you? I'm back with another outfit inspired by art. Daenel chose this week's piece: Pocket Flask {The MET, public domain} The blown pattern-moulded glass Pocket Flask were made in the U.S. between 1800 and 1860. I do love this!! What a beautiful image- the glass shades so complimentary- the patterning, the background- all gorgeous! Here is how I interpreted it: I started with this vintage checked shirt dress. It has a yellowy beige background, orange and green stripes and beautiful green glass buttons. Because the dress is a little too loose on me, I added an old brown leather belt which picked up the colour of my (men's)...
