Though I wear a lot of preppy things – button-up shirts, stripes, loafers, oxfords, etc. – I never describe my style as “preppy”. To be honest, I find preppy style a bit boring, and I’d like to think my style is more eclectic than that (which is another way of saying I don’t like to confine myself to a rigidly defined “style”; I just wear whatever the hell I want). However, occasionally I do put together a pretty straightforward preppy outfit, like this one. I mean, all that’s missing is a pearl necklace, right?
