The Secret Arrival of Bex (Holiday Style)
A couple of days before we went to France, my sister decided to book a last minute Eurotunnel crossing and suprise everyone by turning up on the Sunday morning, fresh from a 16 days in a row stint at work, with no day off... I managed to keep it a secret after we liaised about crossing / arrival times and the kids went loopy with excitement when she walked through the front door. Mum was taken aback and Dad was just concerned that she'd driven her ancient Fiesta from Aldershot to Folkstone and then from Calais down to Normandie! He was probably right to be concerned as 4 days later she made it all the way back to Thorpe Park after leaving us at 8am, worked her shift...
