Candy Skate
I cannot remember the first time I put on roller-skates. I’m sure I was very small. With three older siblings, I had the freedom to get into activities that my parents were already comfortable with them doing. My grandparents had a beach house that we would regularly take trips to. The way we would keep entertained there always involved the same brilliant activities. There was a collection of books, which we were all welcome to read. There were a number of board games that lived only at the beach house. There was an old record player with a great range of records like Neil Diamond and Abba. There was a set of marbles and a bunch of matchbox cars...
