Before Apple Picking
Back in February when I first met Courtney , we made plans to visit the apple orchard when the trees were in bloom. On that frigid winter day, the warm air of springtime seemed like it would never arrive. When the evidence on Instagram implied that the trees were finally blooming, we headed to Lyman Orchards on a Friday evening. The weather was perfect, and we traipsed through the tall grass and hid among the blooms. Much unlike the orchards in the fall, we were completely alone, and it felt like a different world. It took me quite a while to slog through the editing of these photos. We shot for nearly two hours and I ended up with 600 or so photos to sort through....
