Anyone else need a weekend from their weekend? Mine was SO exhausting, in the best kind of ways. We started the weekend with a birthday party for a friend, then Saturday was the Junior League's Annual Derby party - which is always a blast. (Seriously, if you live in town and aren't coming, you need to be!) We rounded out the weekend with a Sunday morning walk to a local coffee shop, before I spent 2 hours raking up leaves and twigs in the yard. Sunday afternoon, we went to celebrate a friend's birthday at our favorite cantina, and then I ended the weekend getting to listen to Richard Blanco (the 5th EVER U.S. inaugral poet) speak at a local lecture series.
