I don't know if I've mentioned it much on the Internet, but my love for Harry Potter runs deep. It was the first book that really got me into reading, and I started the series when I was 8, not long after the third book came out. My grandma had gotten me the book for my birthday, and I was devastated because I was sure that I was going to get a Barbie. I barely glanced it at first until my parents told me that I had to read some of it before I could watch TV. Funny how what first felt like a punishment turned into a lifelong love. It didn't take long for me to get into The Sorcerer's Stone and soon, I was pouring over the books. I got almost my entire family...
