Here’s some fun news I don’t think I’ve shared on the blog yet: I got a new car! It was way overdue. My old car, Cyd the Sentra, was 11 years old and had lots of bumps and bruises and rattles (which also describes me on some days). Cyd still had my faded, peeling Indiana Law sticker on the back, so people who saw it probably said to themselves, “That poor girl spent all her money on law school and now she’s a waitress. How sad.” But now I have a brand new Hyundai Ioniq hybrid that tells the world I’m a relatively successful adult...
