PLT floral dress, J. Hannah earrings Are floral patterns more suited for fashion exclusive to warmer months? Overloading on floral prints might sound overwhelming and incompatible with standard wintry wear but I think when done right, it's a fresh pattern to don on colder days. It works so long as the overall tone of the piece leans more neutral (like this Calvin Klein dress , even with the short hem) or if the pattern is against a dark canvas like this dress worn above (similar here and here ), or perhaps layered over sheer leggings or thigh-high boots. The bright embroidery against black mesh breathes a bit of life into what would be an otherwise tediously...
