It’s around this time of year that the phrase, “Why do I live where the air hurts my face?” gets circulated daily. Daily. Sometimes several times a day. And frankly I wish I had an answer to that question other than stable government, free health care, and no crocs, spiders, or snakes that want to kill us all the time. Well, actually those are pretty good answers. But let me tell ya when all I want to do is run barefoot on the sand and through the surf it’s really hard to focus on those answers.
It’s even harder to do so when I’m putting on or taking off all the required layers to get through my daily errands. But you trudge on...
