A Winter Story

I've gotten pretty good at letting less-than-positive comments roll off my back. I mean, I don't have the thickest skin in the world but I probably would have quit within the first year of blogging if I couldn't take a bit of critique. Most of the time the comments that affect me aren't even the mean ones, but just ones that hit a pet peeve or seem misplaced or the very personal and kind ones. I mean sometimes people write a comment so lovely I don't even know how to respond because it was too sweet and generous and any response would feel flat.
