I gravitate towards anything black with a white collar. The Coco dress from Hobbs is, to me, perfection with its monochrome palette, contrast collar and cuffs, pleat detailing and general ’80s vibe. It costs £189 though. £189! That’s a big commitment to wearing it LOADS to get a decent cost per wear out of it:
In a similar vein, this Topshop playsuit is a recent replacement for one I had a couple of years ago. I really liked the old one but ended up eBaying it because it had a super low back and it’s not often (i.e. never!) that I want to go out in something that’s extremely short and backless.
