Velvet & Balloons
Happy Thursday Lovelies! Two trends I have loved this year have been velvet and fun sleeves. Velvet has been having it's moment for a few seasons, but this year it is front and center. We have also seen the evolution of the pleated skirt, last year it was all about the pleated leather and metallics, and this year velvet has taken it's place. This skirt speaks to me, 1. it's blush 2. velvet & 3. so feminine! I love the juxtaposition of dainty and slightly rugged, so obviously I wanted to pair this uber girly skirt with an over sized cozy sweater. Enter balloon sleeves.
