Wear to Work: Pastels and Jewel Tones
Details: J.Crew blouse via Avalon / Land's End Canvas skirt /Gap cardigan and belt / Michael Kors watch (gift) / Jones New York sandals via Avalon As summer winds down, I find it harder and harder to come up with new and different outfits. I tried livening up my summer palate by mixing this pastel skirt with a jewel tone top. These hues normally aren't paired together, but I think the key is to wear colors that would normally go together, such as fuchsia and blue. The colors are an interesting twist, and I just love the romantic ruffle of this blouse paired with the girlish fullness of this skirt. Also, I have been obsessed with the Olympics.
