Today while waiting to meet with a counselor at my daughter's high school, my 14-year-old daughter and I got very giggly as we waited in the office in silence. I was very fidgety, not liking to sit still, going through my purse and talking about my toenail cuticles and so on. "You are not a normal mom," my daughter pronounced. I said, "I am too normal!
