Designer Lia Kes invited me to choose an outfit for my in-store hosting duties and motioned to an other-worldly, hand-dyed silk combo of slip dress and gathered robe. Inky and watery blue, very familiar. The slippery shoulders and boudoir-ready drape of the robe felt like the perfect hostess ensemble. I felt beautiful, which Lia's contagious dreamy energy encourages. Confidence followed. This past Thursday was really special. I met Lia earlier in the week, and prepped for four days...
