A Day Trip to Frome, Somerset

Whilst home in Somerset for my birthday, Miguel and I decided to head to the nearby town of Frome for an afternoon. We’d popped by briefly on my birthday but were running out of time so decided to head back and explore it properly. It still sounds a little odd to me when referring to Frome as a destination – growing up nearby meant we’d pop by occasionally to Argos or something else mundane, but also meant that I had preconceptions of what it was like. Let’s say it didn’t have the best of reputations!
But in recent times I’d meet other Londoners who’d excitedly tell me they were heading...
