Back to my roots – home is where your <3 is
While you are reading this, I am home. By “home” I don’t mean the place where I currently live, but my first home and the country I was born: Romania.
When I was eleven, my mum and I moved from Timisoara, Romania to Germany. With me being an outgoing person, finding friends wasn’t really hard…feeling at home in the new home kinda was. It was a process which took quite some time (and I am talking about years here). I remember, every time when I would have a fight with one of my friends (we were teens after all), I wished to go back home. Until I didn’t´t. And the I realized: This is home.
