Fashion Week Day II: The Carrie Skirt
Head to Toe: Blouse, skirt and scarf; thrifted // Sneakers, Keds // Bag, Cole Haan Fashion week—you know you're doing it right when people give you weird looks on the subway. I found this ASOS skirt in a Salvation Army last fall and grabbed it up for $8. I fondly refer to it as my Carrie Bradshaw skirt but haven't actually worn it yet because it's so, well, extra. Being extra at fashion shows is totally permitted, if not encouraged, but it's getting to and from said shows that prompts some sideways glances. But, it's New York, so there's always someone who's more weird and outlandish than you, so I just own it.
