Fancy Pants
Everything comes around again. Even a pair of crazy shimmery wide leg pants I found on the free rack at a thrift store. I can't say much about their vintage or origin, the only tag states that they were made in Korea and the fabric content is 12% silk, 88% meatallic (and yes, that is how it's spelled). Typically I wouldn't expect such an item to be having a moment, but metallic wide leg pants certainly seem to be. Everywhere from Anthropologie to Nordstrom are embracing the style. In another instance of letting these languish in my closet for far too long without an occasion to wear them - and this particular look having been in my head since bringing the pants...
